Dianne Thompson presents an acrylic sunset desert scene class:
Week 1: Blend three sky colours with a wet brush, then soften with a dry brush
Week 2: Paint clouds in purple, orange, red, and peach - light near the horizon, darker higher up.
Week 3: Create mountains with blueish sides and lighter centers; add foreground greens and orange in the background
Week 4: Apply dark brushes with a sea sponge, add twigs and brances with a fine detail brush and include sunrays for glow.
Week 5: Paint cacti in black, then add green and orange highlights, shadows, and lengthen sunrays.
