About The Artist

Meet Dianne

There is beauty everywhere. Dianne’s joy is in noticing it, then finding a way to share it through colour.

Art has been part of Dianne Thompson’s life for as long as she can remember. From drawing as a young girl to taking painting classes as a teenager and studying with accomplished artists, her love of creating has continued to grow and evolve throughout her life.

Today, Dianne draws much of her inspiration from the natural world around her, capturing the light, colour and textures that make each landscape, animal or scene unique. Her experience in interior styling and colour consulting has also shaped how she approaches her paintings, giving her a natural eye for colour, composition, and the little details that bring a piece to life.

Whether she is painting a landscape, creating a custom pet portrait, working on a mural or sharing her knowledge in a class, Dianne’s goal is simple: to create art that brings people joy.
